Hi all,
I am new here, if i made mistakes please forgive me, now i am doing short circuit analysis and load flow analysis work using etap software, if any one familiar with this type of work please mail to me. we are studying the spare capacity of a hv network. for the above purpose we are collecting data to calculate short circuit capacity of the feeder system. we are planing to do a load flow analysis in the h.v system. Unfortunately the system is very old. it has been working since 1987. oil type systems are very common at substation(RMU). For the above work we had collected the load details of each substation. and we converted it into a lumped load, most of the loads in the systems are motor load. for stimulating the system in etap, which load i have to consider ? is it total connected load or demand load. i heard another load its called absorbed load, i want to know more about absorbed load and faulty study procedure.
