Power to a drive. 2

I have a customer that is hooking up a drive that requires 332V. The voltage supplied to the plant is 480V. The transformer that I have found is a 480V-380Y/220. Is there anyway to apply an external tap or other device to make the voltage get with in the 332V requirements?

Is this a servo drive? They sometimes have special input voltage specificatrions.

An autotransformer is usually used to adapt voltage. And that is usually also mentioned in the manuals for the drive.

Is it the drive that requires 332V, or is it the motor.
With many inverter drive systems, it is possible to specify the output voltage at a given frequency and this is independent of the input voltage provided that it is less than or equal to the input voltage. - no transformer required if this is the case.
