hi
can i convert (x ppm) of water contaned in gas to (y lb/MMscf).
if it's possible please give me a method of calculation.

First, you have to specifically identify what parts per million you are referring to: mass or volume?

PPMs are just like temperature (celcius or fahrenheit?), pressure (absolute or gauge?), and % (of what?).

It is not possible to convert lb water/million lbs of gas to lb water/million Scf without first establishing the molecular weight of the gas in question.

If you do know the dry gas's molecular weight, then the conversion can be done as follows:

lb water/MM Scf = (lb water/MM lb gas)(mol. wt. of gas)/(379.5 Scf)

The above Scf value of one lb-mol is measured at 70 oF and 14.696 psia - as per the NGPSA.
