I'm looking for a comprehensive readable book on electrical engineering. I work in safety, so it would need to cover all bases without going too far into formulas etc. I thought I saw that McGraw Hill published exactly what I was looking for but I couldn't find it when I went searching the web again. I have a degree in electrical engineering so I have a good handle on the subject. Any thoughts out there.

You're looking for the Standard Handbook for Electrical Engineers, which is published by McGraw Hill.
