I am looking for a pre-made assembly like used on a radial arm saw.

I need a device that can raise and lower a small table 12-18" in a verticle direction. The table would be about 24 inches square, and have a total weight of 150 lbs. I would like it to be operated by a hand crank. The best example I can think of to describe what I want, is the mechanism used on a radial arm saw. I could construct something myself, but I'm trying to avoid reinventing the wheel if something economical is readily available.

Thanks

Sounds like a screw jack. Try Google. Or a car parts catalog.

Most radial arm saws don't have have that much vertical travel.

Do you need the radial capability, or just the up and down? If you just need up and down, and are committed to woodshop technology, take a look at a floor standing drill press.

Check Grainger or McMaster-Carr cataogs for work tables.
