Predator DNC system

We use a Predator DNC system to connect our CNC machines to our LAN for upload and download of NC programs. Currently we use dot matrix printers for printing our programs. We have had problems with the speed and reliability of these printers. I would like to use the laser jet printers that we have on our shop floor instead but Predator doesn't want to talk to them. Does anyone have any experience with this?
