This may be the wrong subgroup but has anyone seen these prefab EV charging foundations that are being manufactured? I suppose that the EV chargers are fairly small and light and don't impose significant load, and I also may just be super inexperienced with these sorts of things... I'm just skeptical about the load path to the ground. Like how much of this polymer bracket is in bearing, how is the load transmitted through? What is the interaction between the polymer base and gravel since this appears to be strictly due to friction? What about movement, deflections, that sort of thing. I didn't see any technical literature on the website about it either. Am I overthinking this?

Definitely over thinking it. Its 600mm deep with barely any load.

When you write (Driving Off With Gas Hose In Car) and search the web;

One of the outcomes ;

Apparently,
The prefab EV charging set up with found. AT LEAST SHOULD BE stronger than charge kabel .[2thumbsup]

I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure..It is: Try to please everybody.

Haha thanks everyone! I think the polymer base is tripping me up. I haven’t seen much like it and I am not sure of its behavior with gravel. More used to concrete being used as an actual foundation.
