Hi everyone,
I do drawings for a lot of parts that sometimeS can have up to 200 holes in them. after I create my hole dimension table I have to go back to each hole label and manually enter the prefix/suffix for it. Can anyone tell me if there is a macro for a hole dimension table that has the prefix/suffix box? Is there a way to add the prefix/suffix box to the existing hole dimension table? Is there a macro that I can use to enter the prefix/suffix in the table and the hole labels all at onceafter the hole dimension table has been created? I do not know how to create macros. Any help is greatly appreciated. I use CATIA V5-62013.

of a part? No, we are ITAR controlled. what I am wanting is a pop up window like in the one in the attached picture but would like a box were you could insert a prefix/suffix so when the labels are generated at the holes and in the table it inserts the prefix/suffix. it would be nice to have it for the coordinate dimension table as well.

I am not aware of any option that would add any prefix/suffix to that function.

You should look into creating your own script.

An aftermarket operation that would to the same as the hole/point dimension table with the prefix/suffix box would work. I would create my own script but I do not know how to write script. I have been using CATIA for only 2 years.

Alex, so what do I need to do to be able to do what is in the video?

Awesome! Thanks for the help. this will save me a great deal of time.

When I use the table it seems like it is grabbing the number 1-4 of my page boarder and not the hole callouts in the table nor the drawing view. therefore, not adding the prefix to the hole dimension table. any ideas?

LIGHTBULB MOMENT. I GUESS ONE WORK AROUND WOULD BE TO DO MY HOLES AND RUN THE MACRO BE FOR I PUT IN MY TITLE BLOCK AND BOARDER.
