Preisach and BH curves

Hello all,
I am looking into how to model the material properties of various materials in FEA. I need to be able to use BH curves in this process. If I wanted to use the Preisach model for hysteresis, how can I get the parameters alpha, beta and gamma? Can they be calculated from a material BH curve or is it simply a case of curve fitting?
Also, if I cannot get hold of a BH curve to fit to, what would you suggest as a method when you have the remanence, max permeability, saturation etc. in a table form?

Ok, to partially answer my question - at these field strengths I could use Raleighs Law. Given this all I need then is a curve of the initial magnetisation of the material or even better is a method of calculating this for materials such as steel?

Of course I can use Kaye+Laby or similar to give me the initial permeability then I just need the raleigh coefficients of things like steel and Iron.

So my question now becomes where can I get good data for initial permeability and raleigh coefficients of materials?

the short answer is to make measurements, this sort of data not easily generalized
