Hi guys,
We are looking forward to purchase PREPRUFE 300R PLUS waterproof membrane however I have a question.
In the project, under material specification I have a requirement that the waterproof membrane must comply with ASTM D543.
At ASTM D543 requirement for my project I have "Chloride and Sulfate resistance" and the result must be "should show no significant difference".
However, looking at PREPRUFE 300R PLUS data sheet, under ASTM D543 I can see that it retains >80% after immersed in TCE, PCE, BTEX and Acid & Alkaline solution.
Do you guys think that this waterproof membrane qualifies for what I need in the project or should I look for other options? I am a bit confused if retaining >80% after immersed in TCE, PCE, BTEX and Acid & Alkaline solution means the membrane does not qualify with what we need and it means that is indeed shows significant difference to Chloride and Sulfate resistance.
I am sorry if the question seems a bit dumb, I am an engineer at the start of my career and I am trying my best to research & learn as much as possible.
If you guys have an answer, can you please also post a source so I can explain to my boss better?
Thank you guys!
