Hello,

We manufacture various pressure vessels for industrial liquid filtration. In order to utilise a standard clamp arrangement and save some money I am looking to incorporate a Pressure Cooker style seal between the opening ferrules. The seal I'm imagining is a sort of v shape where by the internal pressure (10 Bar.G Max)would actually open the 'wings' of the seal against the ferrule faces thereby improving the seal. I'm pretty sure these would be available, but after a decent search of the internet I can't find anything suitable at the moment so I thought I'd put it out to you guys to see if you've come across this before.

The seal orientation would be like this (shown around cL)

Thanks for your help arto. Believe it or not we are now part of the Parker group, but I had no idea who to ask for, thats why I came here first!!

I'm enquiring about these metal seals that you've told me of. This is exaclty what I was looking for but I was looking for rubber materials, EPDM and the like. But I'll see how I get on with these.

Regards,
Lee
