Pressure Let Down

Hello all,

Is it possible to let down compressed gas from a 300barg cylinder to <1barg with a single stage regulator? Its a very low flowrate (20Nm3/hr). If I need an expensive let down skid the concept is stuffed so hopefully its a conventional operation.

If you need accurate control at around 1 barg, you need or would benefit greatly from a 2 stage regulator. That's not complicated, and only a little more expensive than your normal cylinder-top regulator.

Be careful with what temperature you want / need.

300 to 1 barg could be a significant temperature drop.
