Hello Everyone,

I was wondering where i might be able to get pressure loss coefficients for numerous duct fittings, I have alot of 3 way diverging fitings (1 inlet - 2 outlets. It would be preferred if they were free

I'd love it if all our resources were free also.

Try SMACNA's website they have alot of resources on duct design including fitting losses. SMACNA is the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors'National Association. Another good site is which has many SMACNA resources for sale.

On an unrelated note, am I the only person who'd like to belong to SMACNA just for the name?

Check out the ASHRAE Duct Fitting Database. Like the SMACNA data, there is a cost involved however. Also, engineering libraries may have a book "Handbook of Hydraulic Resistance" by Idilchik. University Libraries would be the best bet to find it.
