I have attached the drawing of check valve. It looks like bolted bonnet but my manufacturer informs it is a pressure seal bonnet. Can any one explain to me whether the atatched valve is with bolted bonnet or pressure seal bonnet

hi Procurement2:

this looks like a pretty standard piston check valve to me. a pressure seal should look more like this:

the body is tested at 79kg/cm2. that's not a lot of pressure, and you wouldn't need a pressure seal for that...

My focus: Alloy Valves in duplex, super duplex, alloy 20, monel, inconel, incoloy, hastelloy, titanium, 904L, zirconium and uranus Valve Stockist Valvulas

Procurement2,
Your valve and the one shown on the drawing by hsbcn are both Pressure Seal Bonnet Check Valves.
I say this, not because your drawing is labeled "Pressure Seal Bonnet Check Valve" but because the detail of the internals clearly shows the Pressure Seal Bonnet Design.

prognosis: Lead or Lag
