Dear all,
I am planning to install pressure surge/shock absorbers on pipelines for petroleum product (diesel and fuel) to eliminate water hammering effect. Sizing has been done but I am not sure which type is better - piston or bladder type.
Can anyone tell me the advantages and disadvantages of the two?I have a feeling that piston and bellow types are "newer" in the market than bladder types. But does that necessarily make them better?
Thanks!
