I would suggest you use the Eng-tips search function on the tool bar above. I tried it typing the phrase "books on pressure vessels". This topic has been discussed.

Note that there are several "handbooks" which are primarily oriented towards giving design methods for stuff not covered by the code- which is probably NOT what you need. There are also a couple intended more as an intro the PV design.

ASME also has classes on PV design, if convenient for you.

Pressure Vessel Design and Practice by CRC
Process Equipment Design Brownell & young
ASME VIII Code fpor Pressure Vessels
AS1210 Australian Code foressure Vessels
BS5500 British Code for Pressure Vessels

Then there are the myriad of FRP/GRP design manuals for non metallic pressure vessels.

Isthill provided a very comprehensive list, lots of good choices in there. I like his picks on Megyesy and Bednar both, very practical and useful books. Megyesy was recommended as a text book when I was in school, I've been using it for years. Keep in mind that these 2 particular books are not Codes, but are excellent reference material for day to day use. Welcome to the industry!
