Pressure Vessel Cost Estimate 1

Can someone help me with finding an estimate for a cylindrical pressure vessel cost estimate: 250 psig max working pressure, ambient temperatures. 8 feet diameter and 40 feet long.

Any idea what a per unit cost would be? Non-corrosive liquid / ice storage.

Based on my rough spreadsheet calculation, for and ASME-VII vessel,fabricated in 2006:

- 8 ft ID, T-T 40 feet, ~16000 gallons, elliptical heads
- MAWP=250 psig, CA =.0625, Carbon steel
- Vessel weight ~ 43,000 lbs
- At a cost of ~ $3.00US/lb...

My ballpark estimate of the cost would be about $125,000 to $150,000 US dollars.......shipping would be 14-18 weeks
(add shipping and accessories to this)

Anybody else ???
