Pressure Vessel Repair

Hi all,

We have a pressure vessel constructed as per ASME Sec VIII Div 2 (U2 stamp) and some welding repair works has to be done on this. For repair, only R stamp is enough? or both U2 and R stamps are required?

R stamp is required only. U-2 cert. is for new construction
