Hello,

does anybody knows whether it is possible to deliver pressure vessels with AD or EN13445 to Ukraine?

Is there anything else the Ukraine strictly wants or does not allow ?

For example, I have learned now that Russia accepts AD, but not absolute. The x-ray test must be 25% even if in AD 2% is accepted. Perhaps there is anything like this in Ukraine, too.

Hi Silje,

You will probably need a GOST passport - this is a paper document summarising the construction process - it is not a design code.
Although I do not think it is mandatory.

The Ukraine is not Russia and although we have done ASME, PD and AD codes for Russian projects; for The Ukraine I believe they will take just about anything as long as the price is right.

You will probably need a fistfull of dollars to give to the customs clearance officers at the border - allow a week or more to get through, even if you have all the right paperwork.

Don't forget that Ukrainian standard flanges are nothing like ASME/ANSI flanges so if you are connecting to their pipework make sure what they have.

In The Ukraine everything starts as a problem and is solved by money, usually US Dollars.
Have fun.

For Ukraine you need an UkrSEPRO certificate. Although Ukrainian standards base upon Russian standards the certficates are different. GOST (or nowadays usually TR) certificates do not help you in the Ukraine, unless the pressure vessel is manufactured in Russia. The GosPorebStandard No. 28 lists the goods which need a certificate for the Ukrainian market.
