Hi everyone,
I m trying to learn abaqus for my research. As of now I am trying to analyse a simple practice problem which includes a simply supported prestressed concrete beam with prestressed strands. I know Abaqus CAE does not support prestress. I am using the *INITIAL CONDITIONS TYPE=STRESS command in the input file to prestress the strands. Then I am running the input file from command prompt.
When I come back to ABaqus CAE and open the .odb file and try to see the deformation, it says, "There is no valid step data available on the database."..
I have defined a step already with very minimal pressure on the top of beam. If anyone can send me an input file for a prestressed beam that will be great. My input file is attached below, if u can figure out the mistake, please let me know. Thank you.
