Pretension of material other than A325 or A490

I wanted to know if anyone knows of a formula or the values one would use for pretension in A307 bolt or C1018 threaded rod.

I would assume you could use 75 percent
of the ultimate yield strength regardless
of the material if that is your normal
guideline.
