A question for the group.

Is there a setting I am over looking to display a preview of feature text in modeling?

Modeling; Insert; Curve; Text.

The preview when placing the curves is always "AaBbYyZz" I'd like the preview to reflect what is entered in the text box.

NX 8.5
Font: MS GOTHIC
Script: Western
Font Style: Regular

Thank you.

No , i think you are right, you have to place it to see the text. But then the text is alive until you leave the dialog, it will reflect any changes. Once one gets used to that I think it's ok.

Regards,
Tomas

Yes, the issue was that until the text is placed, since there are three 'Type' options available, we didn't want to perform any actual modeling operations as this depends on which 'Type' you're going to use, so we just 'hard-coded' a dummy text string as a sort of place holder.
