I tried to access the thread and continue commenting on the topic of converting drainage fixture units to GPM. I know there was a lot of confusion and I think I may have found something to help clear the fog. Below is a link to specs for water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage infrastructures.

This helped me. Hope it helps someone else, too.

Thanks.

This link is good, but only applicable for sizing grease interceptors - which is a lot different from sizing water, normal sanitary, or storm infrastructers.

How would you use this to determine the sanitary load (or even the water requirements) for a water closet or for a roof that is 20,000 sf?
