would anyone have a round about price of a manhole that would be 8' tall, precast with cone and cover?

Costs depend on what area you are in. I suggest you contact a few general contractors in your area to give you cost proposals. I'm assuming the manhole is only a part of a larger project including pipelines that is already designed.

Factors which could affect the cost:
1. Depth
2. Number of pipes entering and exiting
3. Size of the pipes
4. Groundwater issues
5. Number of manholes (just one will have a higher unit price than a multiple number)
6. Distance the supplier has to transport the components.
7. Local economy (hungry contractors yield lower unit prices)
8. Design and maintenance requirements of the governing jurisdiction
9. Construction in existing pavement vs. natural ground
10. Traffic control

In our locale (Northern California), costs for a manhole could range from $2500 to $7500 depending on the variables mentioned above.

also add diameter / size of manhole, size of frame and cover, is it traffic rated? will it be in a street? pavement removal and replacement necessary? steps required? waterproofing required?

I'm in North Florida, and the price range would be similar to PELS response.
It's all dependent on the conditions PELS noted.

sorry, i thought it might be a little vague for an engineering site. I was just looking for the price of the actual concrete manhole. just wanted a general estimate.
I kinda assumed $4000 so seems like that should be a good value. Its on private land so we will be doing all the work ourselves.
Thanks for the answers.

for the manhole price, delivered and not installed, just call your closes pre-caster and they will quote you the actual price plus tax and delivery.

For 48" diameter precast with floor, use 125 dollars per vertical linear foot installed with ring and cover extra. This is in a bid with items such as mobilization, backfill, grade adjustment, & paving paid.
