Sorry if this is an easy question, but I can't find it. I'm not a Mathcad user, just the resident office computer questions recipient. The engineers here use Mathcad ver 8 professional. A lot of their templates and sheets (literally hundreds to a couple thousand by this point, depending on what they need, hence the reason for not wanting to change the sheets) have multiple colors on the sheet for different items, etc. But, when they print, it prints in color, which doesn't photocopy well at all. Best solution so far was to set the printer to greyscale, and set it to dark, but that's only a temp fix, as the printer gets used for color sheets all the time as well. To make a short story long, boils down to :
Is there a simple setting to change, to tell it to print all black? Or, another way to handle this?

Thanks much

In each worksheet

Double click on an XY graph.

Change all the line colours to black.

Tick the use as default box.

Sorry, this is a horrible work-around, and may not even work (don't have MathCAD on this machine).

Why not install another printer on each PC with the colour print option deleted , eg use a laserjet 4 driver for a colour laserjet, etc?

I hope someone has a better suggestion!

Thank you for the idea, but that's kind of what we did so far, have a bunch of HP's loaded as HP 500's. Just makes it a pain in the neck to go back and forth between two programs changing printers every time we print. It DOES work, just not the ideal situation.
