So, I'm doing an image processing scheme in infrared, I'm going color for the images, the problem I'm encountering is, the pure red and pure blue colors seem to be a lot darker than composite colors, like purple, violet or orange when I print them out on glossy, I've been playing around with post processing in matlab converting the image from RGB to HSV, though I have no idea what makes colors appear more apparent, like the value portion or saturation portion of HSV, like some basic boundary conditions for them... any reccomendations?
