I have this tideous problem:

I am using Autocad2000 and everytime i go to print a sketch sheet using our half shaded standard pen setting .ctb (8x11) with our LaserJet 5000N it converts all letter N's within my text into a small square instead. Granted, this only seems to happen on text within a viewport not in paperspace.

I ran the same print but instead of using our half shaded .ctb i didnt use any, so all were black/same linewieght and the printed sheet came out fine and all the letter N's came out fine.

Any suggestions?

The half toning could be adding more size to your plot file which your printer "can't handle". This happens hear when the font is a "True Type Font". Once we change it to native SHX font, our file print well. The black lines for some reason don't add as much size as the black lines.

Go figure...?
