Hello,

I am trying to print the screen of an old "HP 70206A" System Graphics Display to a computer via a HP-IB/GPIB port. In the operation manuals I have found for the HP 70206A, there is no directions on how to print the display to a computer except for a slight reference under "Plot" that says:

"Refer to the [PRINT] command for instructions on using this command when a computer is on HP-IB." (Page 2-49)

I am hoping someone can help me find some way of creating a digital copy of the screen without having to physically print a page and scan it.

A quick google indicates that the 70206A was originally intended to do a raster print to one of the original HP injet printers (i.e. Designjet 70).

A little more investigation show others have already done this type of print capture to a PC:
