Pro-E to Ug via Step

I posted this to the UG forum but is doesn't seem to be very active so maybe some one here can help

I created a pretty complex part in Pro/E 2001 and exported it to Step. When we went to import the file into UG V 17 thwe converter ran with no errors but the part did not appear.

Did you use AP214 or AP203? Have you tried this before successfully? How big was the step file ... under 100MB?

we got it to work , I had to shut off UG's tolerant modeling option.
