Hi, can anyone recommend a free Pro-E file viewer that someone can install to look at pro-e parts and assemblies? I'd also like it to be able to look at .STP files.

Thanks a bunch,
SrG.

PTC has Product View Express which should work well but any solidworks user like me should have eDrawings which works well and allows measurement if you have the pro version but the free version is good to and can be downloaded.

But eDrawings has to be a pre-thoughtout procedure.
PVExpress is I believe limited to PTC customers, so there is that limitation.

I used Delcam, free viewer, to open Wildfire parts and assemblies.

I got what I needed. I am able to view and print Pro-e asy, prt, drw (embeded) or pic files.

If the drawing creator turns on the config.pro option
save_drawing_picture_file and sets it to embeded then P-View express will show it without creating a separate pic file.

If set to both Pro will create a file like filename.pic.1 and it will also embed it in the drawing.
