Pro/E WF4: questions about threads

Good evening All,

I'd like to ask you two questions about the thread feature in Pro/E:

1) if you declare a cosmetic thread on a shaft with a diameter bigger than the shaft's size and you define an x-section, you'll see something similar to the attached file: our problem is the missing cross hatching in the cosmetic thread (e.g.: the shaft is 22 mm, the thread size is 24). I've activated hlr_for_quilts and the thread standard is std_iso_imp.

2) if you have a part with a threaded hole (created using the library of threaded holes provided by Pro/E, e.g.: ISO M24x1.5, M27x1.5 and so on) is there a chance to create a family table of the part and to declare the thread as a parameter for the instances? For example, the generic has an ISO M24x1.5 threaded hole, and I'd like to have an instance with the same hole in the same position but with a different size (M27x1.5, for example). I'm trying to declare a parameter called "Thread", a string, where I'd like to put the thread size (again, M24x1.5) and to connect this parameter to the parameters of the cosmetic feature.

Thank you and have a nice evening.

Bye
