Pro/Engineer to Msc.Nastran for Windows

Does anyone export models from Pro/Engineer (any version) into Msc.Nastran for Windows (any version preferably 2001) and do an an FEA using Msc.Nastran for Windows. I am trying to do this but having some problems. I will feel better if I know that someone else has done this. Thanks in advance.

PS: I was not sure which forum would be more suitable so I posted this question in both Pro/E forum and Nastran forums.

I'm not sure if you have a license that will allow this so bear with me...

Open your part, and go to Applications-->Mechanica, then select structure with the "FEM mode" button checked.

Some Pro/E licenses still allow FEM output, and if it does, make sure that the FEM mode check box is selected. If not, and you don't have Pro/Mech, it will tell you to contact your sales rep (booo).

Here you can create a boundary or solid mesh, apply mesh controls, loads and constraints, and "run" it. When you run it, you will have the option to output it to a PTC neutral FEM file, an ANSYS file (*.ANS) or a Nastran file (*.NAS, I believe).
