Hello Fellow PTC Users,

I am really starting to get hit up about Solidworks.... I have customers who are now demanding direct translations of our Pro-e tool design to be converted into Solidworks, with model trees. Does anyne know if 3.0 will do this now or is it once again a ptc rumor?

Thank you in advance!

I import models from Pro/E 2001 to SWx 2005/2006 without any problems using IGES and STEP. I prefer STEP being a little cleaner.

Here is an article I posted in the SWx forum regarding the same topic. The two kernals are different and have different accuracies.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.
