Anyone giving this a chance? I am on build 3.0 021 right now. I heard that I should wait until 3.2 comes out.

Anyone have any input?

Thanks Torgon,

I am aware of these issues. I have the build 1361 installed and am giving it the once over. Checking Baseline, Promote/Demote, Checkin/out, Exporting/Importing is part of my usual testing methods.

I am curious if anyone is actually using the build and if they have experienced any "show-stopper" bugs.

Thanks for your time!

Well, for anyone thinking that Build 1361 is safe, PTC has done it again. I am glad to say that Beta testing Pro/Intralink 3.1 build 1361 took all of 4 minutes. At least "the intralink team" has helped me decrease the amount of time it takes to realize that Pro/I is garbage.

I am rather upset at "Quality" of this product. No wonder 3rd party companies are popping up all over trying to crack the PTC Pro/I nut. Now one can buy software to run Pro/I.... um, shouldn't Pro/I be the only software required to run Pro/I... anyways.

The first issue I ran into was the Duplicate objects being checked out. Aparently the Relationships criteria "Latest" seems to be spoofable. This leads me to believe that any releationships criteria operation is not reliable.

I will keep sniffing around the "code" to see what other surprises PTC has released in this "silver bullet" release.

Hi All,
Well time has come to upgrade.

The nasty mess of duplicate objects is repaired with a PTC supplied script. Run the script and *poof* it works properly.

I have gone thru testing and think that this build is upgradeable after the script is run.

There are not really any good "PTC Carreer stopping" Issues. Little annoyances etc. I catagorize these annoyances under "Typical PTC crappy software TAN's"

Ahhh, the joys of Pro/E. Anyways, build 2001440 seems to be the next PTC magic bullet.... whatever!

For those of you who care, I would "recommend" this build if you need to get rid of the ghost object nightmare.

- Have fun! Keep on Truckin'
