Hi...

I've just installed Wildfire and Intralink 3.3 on a new machine, and am having trouble getting in to Intralink. When I try to login it's asking for a password, but the only password that I was asked about during setup is the Oracle Password which was automatically entered, and I chose to use it, so I don't know what it is. Is this the same password that's used to login to Intralink, and if so where do I find out what it is. If it's not again where do I find out the default password?

Also, my old computer still has the Pro\e 2000i2 and an older version of Intralink on it. Is there any way for me to pull both the files and data into my new Intralink?

thanks...

default user names and passwords are in the installation manuals.

You have to do an upgrade to get old version Intralink files into the new version. The installation takes care of the data conversions. You may be able to export all of your files from the old version and then import them into the new version, but you have lost all assembly relationships.

I've tried the default ORACLE password that's given in the manual, and it doesn't work. Is that not the correct one? I just called customer support, and I guess our maintanence has expired, so he couldn't even help me with an installation question...

Also, on the file transfer, I've tried backing up files, and sending pulling them in, and as you've said I don't get any data just files. But by doing it the way I did I don't get any data whatsoever, not even file names, just the number designation that is assigned, so I really have no way to identify anything other than open and see. If I upgrade the old Intralink, and export that will take care of at least file identification, correct?

The default user name and password for an admin account on a new install is the name of the program you are trying to enter with out the Pro/ prefix.

You should be able to upgrade your old system and then export/import them into the new system. Caution in that you can only upgrade to 3.3 from 3.1 or 3.2.

Still no luck logging in. I'm beginning to think something happened during setup. Any ideas?

Intralink is case sensitive.

It doesn't matter...

I've tried
[intralink]
[Intralink]
[INTRALINK]

among others with no luck...

did you ever figure this out????

I am having the same problem over here. I have tried all the default username password combinations. None work.

Any help out there ????
