Hello, I just joined this Engineers Community and Avid to learn!. Well, I'm from venezuela, and I'm saying this so you have a background. I got a problem drawing a steel Frame. the problems are these:
1. I want some Secundary beams to be over the Primary Beams right at the columns grids. But When I change the Insertion Point after drawing they Dissapear, I suppose its because they are draw on the same plane, but I don't know how to do it.
2. How can I draw the beams so they don't get "cut" at joist, and actually they rest above the load primary beam?
3. How Can I apply a Area Load to these Frames, without adding an structural element for the Analysis? I ask this since, the material used for the roof is the one on the real Photo, which wood ,and not count on the structural analysis.
