Problem in editing surface texture symbols

(1)Condition 1
Drawing was creaded in 2000 version.
It was opened in 2006 version, edited and again saved in 2000 version.
--> Surface texture symbols can not be edited for changing it's value i.e. 3.2,1.6,etc.
--> Surface texture symbols can not be moved or copied.
(2)Condition 2
Drawing was creaded in 2006 version.
It was opened in 2006 version, edited and again saved in 2006 version.
--> Surface texture symbols can not be mirrered.
