Problem regarding Fixities of joint while modelling in SACS

we are working to model a offshore jacket structure assuming a 2d model. we want our model to be free in translation in x and y and rotation in z at all joints except the fixed end of legs. we assign fixities as 002220 of joints but it is not giving expected results. please help us about this problem. thanks in advance

I don't know much about SACS finite element analysis, but with all the other applications I've worked with 2D frames are a special animal. In some you have to provide out of plane stability at the top, in others there is a special 2D analysis setting with limited degrees of freedom, but that can break down if any of the section are asymmetric. So I would look for something like that. Here's a wiki I wrote on the subject in general terms:
