problem while importing file from solidworks to Abaqus

I am trying to import a part from solidworks to abaqus. I have saved file in both formats (.sat and .igs) but couldn't import. It says my file is corrupt . How can I fix this?

Did you make sure you are exporting the file in a version that abaqus can recognize? I usually pick the earliest version that I can just to make sure. You can see what version you are exporting in the options for the specific file type.
