Hey guys,
Currently I'm doing analyzing a simple stiffened plate modelled with shell for the plate, and wire for the beam.
After I mesh them individually, assembled and merged their meshes, the mesh for the assembled part is distorted ( diagonal lines).
How can I solve this problem?
Another issue I'm facing is that whenever I merge two instance and render shell thickness, Abaqus/CAE will crash with a message " gui detected error when waiting for ipc connection to close". What can I do to fix it?
