I should mention that I have used "subscript" when I wrote "tk" in the sum..

You are right " Its proberly just a setting I need to ajust."

What is the index of the first element in your vector?

Cheers

SIG:please see FAQ731-376 for tips on how to make the best use of Eng-Tips.

I think what Greg is trying to say is that the default origin is 0. With k=1..n, you are summing to an invalid index n. Either change ORIGIN to 1 or k=0..n-1.

Next time, posting the actual sheet would be more useful than a picture of the sheet, particularly since the actual sheet would give you the error message that would have made it obvious what the problem is: "The array index is invalid for this array"

If this is not the actual error message, it should be, but that means that you've used the literal subscript operator "." instead of "[" for the index subscript.
