Problem with *.OBJ import

Every time I try to import the attached OBJ file I am getting a fatal error and Creo 3.0 shuts down.

I've never worked with OBJ files so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or how the import settings should be handled.

Any help is appreciated.

An OBJ file won't be editable in Creo. If there is a problem importing it, it will likely need to be handled on the export generation side. Look at the options on the exporter and chose the oldest/least capable format. Creo won't do anything with texture mapping, for example.
