Problem with xpressroute and frame design.

I can't seem to figure out what is causing this. If I go into xpressroute or frame design all of my parts turn to clear black w/ a wire frame. I'm not sure what this means. But I can't select anything. My goal is to be able to draw the sketch lines for tubing. So any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen this before, but can't remember if I found any particular cause.
What graphics card are you using ?
