Hello ,

My name is bheshaj.
i have problem while using pro-E 2000i
when i start , it shows blended background in blue-black.
after some work when i shade object& minimise window,
after maximising window it shows my desktop icons in pro-E
main window.

i tried to resolve this problem very much & i got 1
solution i used option ENVIRONMENT/SYSTEM/COLORS & then
disabled option blended background.

it helped me to solve problem, but every time i have to do
same thing.
i used save option in the same window.
but blend background comes default everytime when i start.

How to solve it?
pl.help.

regards,

bheshaj.

Try using the option "Sketcher_blended_blackground" to set this value in Utilities, Options.

Actually you were halfway there... You saved a 'system colors' file when you did the save, but you didn't tell Pro/E to load it when you startup. Typical Pro/E behavior, but not typical 'windows' behavior.

In order load your system colors at startup, add the option "system_colors_file" to your options file. Go to Utilities, Options... Add the option in the left window, then browse to the file you've saved with the Browse button.

One note, as with all other Pro/E options, if Pro can't find it, it won't load it. I've created a default startup folder that I keep these sorts of files in (I keep lighting files in there as well as my options file [aka config.pro]) This is where Pro/E always starts, thus it can always find the files.
