Our company, like many others, loathes spending money unless it is absolutely needed. We are begining to implement Solidworks thoughout our engineering department, and have found that our plotter has problems when plotting Solidworks drawing files.

Our plotter is a HP DesignJet 430 (D/A1) with driver v4.66

The problem is that it will randomly exclude notes, balloons, and dimensions.

Question: Is there a way to get our old plotter to work with Solidworks? If not, are there any suggestions for a new plotter?

Thank you for your help.

We have the same problem with our old HP 350C. To fix the problem we check the setting "process in computer" and everything then prints.

Check with HP to see if there is a newer driver. Check with your VAR for plotter suggestions. Any NEW one will work.
