I have created a solid model, using imperial units as a base unit, and have inserted it into another drawing, using meters as a base unit, and am having problems rendering the combined drawing. I have scaled the inch units based drawing before and after inserting it into the other one and this does not make a difference. Both drawings reneder fine by themselves. Really can not scale the metric drawing as it is of a terrain surface and is the basis of all the drawings. Also have simplified the model to a very reasonable size, under 1 mg, and this doesn't seem to help. Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm hoping to finsh the project over the weekend.

Also, any advice on terrain modeling software programs? I get my TIN's from a friend but would like to be able to create my own from survey data. Not scared to spend money, but want it to work well and easily. Needs to be able to handle a lot of points as well, +/- 50,000.
