we have many procedures in Excel 2007 (32 bit),
company is moving to Windows 64 bit with Excel 64,
we use Prode Properties which is available (for Windows) in 32 and 64 bit versions,
however I have to modify several pages since Excel 32 and 64 require different declarations,
my question is, which are the advantages in terms of speed ?
I have found benchmarks comparing Excel 32 and 64 and showing advantages (for 64 bit version) in both VBA and basic operations on cells,
does this agree with your experience ?

since you are posting on a forum for process engineers I presume you mean the advantages solving process operations,
for most operations (as flash operations, columns, phase envelope, pipelines etc.) PRODE PROPERTIES 64 bits runs about twice as fast as 32 bits versions on my Excel 2010,
also Excel 64 should be faster for I/O , cells, VBA etc.

I have Prode Properties 64 bits (and Excel 64 bits),
Prode 64 bit calculates a phase envelope in about half the time required by 32 bit version.
no problems apart installation (I have also 32 bit applications working with Prode and that has required specific settings).
