Good Morning,
Let's say I have done an analysis with inertia relief ON but now, for some reasons (I will explain later) I want to disable inertia relief and manually constraint the body so the results of the new analysis match the results of the analysis with inertia relief ON (maybe with a little error but acceptable). Is that possible? Have you got any idea of a good process to "convert" an inertia relief analysis into an analysis with full constraints on the body?
Why I want to do that? I am testing a design process in NX 8 which requires in my case inertia relief activated: I am importing (from NX motion) the loads which applies on a connecting rod in an engine. NX imports the reaction forces at the location of the joints on the rod and 2 gravity loads (the one because of earth, the other is imported at the rod's center of mass, to counter-balance the reaction loads". Furthermore, I can not do topology optimization with inertia relief ON for example.
