Basically what we are looking for is a good database to enter our shop travelers
any idea, suggestion? Does PDM works or other have a feature compatible to this?
Thank you.

Any PDM system shoild be able to store the shop travelers as part of the database. Depending on what type of shop you have there may be other software that could also do that. I worked in a machining environent and we had software that would download the machine code to NC controllers. A module of that software was the instructions for the operator. There is a software category valled Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) that handles routings, time spent at a workcenter, etc. Many otions out there to do what you want. You may already have someting in house that could work if you have a CAD system with PDM/PLM.
