Product Side of Storage Tank 2

Good Day to everyone

I would like to request for your help regarding the interpretation of the requirement of API 650 Clause 5.3.4 Weld Hardness (b.2) "All welds deposited by an automatic process shall be hardness tested on the product side surface"

Does the line "product side surface" means inside the tank?

Yes.

Unless you have product on both sides, which is unusual but not impossible.
